HOLIDAY COTTAGE HORNCASTLE LINCOLNSHIRE

We have always prided ourselves on the high standard of cleaning for Barn Owl Cottage Horncastle Lincolnshire, but in light of coronavirus it is evident we need to be sure that you are aware of what procedures we follow to ensure that every effort has been made to contain and manage the spread and to give you peace of mind for your holiday.  With this in mind I have listed below the cleaning procedure I follow at changeover:

• Ventilation of the whole cottage by leaving windows/doors open during the entire cleaning process
• Washing my hands thoroughly before and after, and wearing disposable gloves and face mask throughout
• All areas hoovered and dusted throughout
• All bed linen (including pillow protectors and mattress protectors), towels and dishcloths removed and replaced with freshly laundered ones
• In every room and garden areas, all hard surfaces cleaned both internally and externally and disinfected. This also include the frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door handles and remote control
• Windows cleaned inside and out, including window sills and handles
• Bins inside and out emptied and replaced with new bin liners, and wiped down with disinfectant
• Frequently used crockery and cutlery put through a dishwasher cycle and replaced back in the cupboard
• Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier and vacuum cleaner will be cleaned / disinfected as appropriate
• Dog throws/towels removed and replaced with freshly laundered ones, and dog bowls washed thoroughly
• All Ecover products left in the cottage for your use will be wiped down with disinfectant
• Skirting boards and ledges wiped down
• Floors washed
• Rotate magazines, books, DVDs between changeovers so that they have minimum of 72 hours in storage before cleaning and return.
